This website is operated by The Barn (Oakey) Pty Ltd. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Barn (Oakey) Pty Ltd. The Barn (Oakey) Pty Ltd offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service. Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes. 

AMNESTY REGISTRATION

FEES- Recieving and the customer does not wish to retain the firearm and details of who has handed it in is supplied

FEE-  Where the item holds Commercial Value and is purchased By The Barn from a Individual - FREE

FEE- Where the item holds Commercial Value and is purchased By The Barn from a Individual and has to be registered at a Police Station -FREE

FEE- Where the Item Holds No Commercial Value but can be parts out by The Barn - FREE

FEE- Where the Item Holds No Commercial Value and the Item Has To Be Delivered to Police For Destruction - $75 inc gst Per Firearm

FEES- Recieving (where a customer wants to register a firearm in the Amnesty and have it transferred via PTA to their current license and retain ownership)

FEE- includes 30 days storage while waiting for All Clear and PTA - $75 inc gst Per Firearm

Storage after 30 days will be calculated at a weekly rate of - $11 inc GST per firearm per week

NO ACCESSORIES WILL BE STORED BY THE BARN UNLESS BOLTED TO FIREARM,  ie scope/mounts, accessories

ONLINE STORE TERMS

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws). You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature. A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services. Although licensing and compliance checks will be carried out by our staff before shipping by purchasing licensed products from our online store you agree that you are licensed to own and possess these licensed items in your state or territory. If it is found out that you are not licensed and the transaction has been processed you will be liable to a restocking fee of a minimum of $100 or 25% of the purchase price whichever is the greater amount.

LIKE FOR LIKE TRADES

The Barn will only complete a Like for Like trade if one of the following conditions is met:

• The customer completing the Like for Like has the original PTA where they acquired it
• The customer originally purchased the firearm from The Barn & we can search the history
• The customer has a current & up-to-date Weapons List issued from Weapons Licencing 

If none of these are present, the staff member will have to contact Weapons Licencing to confirm ownership. This means that if none of the above proof of ownerships is present, The Barn cannot complete a Like for Like trade during a Saturday morning trade or at this stage, Wednesday due to Weapons Licencing not open for phone calls. Any questions, please confirm with The Barn prior to completing the transaction.  

MONTHLY SALE MAILOUT TERMS & CONDITIONS

The Barn at is discretion may send out monthly mailouts with parcels advertising specials & products adverised at a certain price. Some items may sell out prior to the ad expiring & while unavoidable, The Barn will endeavour to keep prices the same as advertised however, if an item has sold out & we have to order the item in from the supplier, the price may vary. Prices advertised are subject to change without notice. 

If a voucher/deal is linked to the mailout:

• 1 voucher is redeemable & only valid for the person who made the original order. Second mailout voucher is not sent with second order.
• Must be able to provide original invoice number. 
• Only valid for orders over $100.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us. The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.

WARRANTY ON NEW PRODUCTS

All new goods sold shall be warranted by the manufactures/importers warranty where so specified, provided the manufacturer's instructions are complied with in all aspects.

Any freight costs will be at the expense of the purchaser unless otherwise agreed upon.

All warranties are considered void if the goods are not used in a proper manner or used for a purpose for which they were not designed or if repairs have been attempted by persons not authorised by The Barn to carry out such repairs.

All Firearms will only be covered by Warranty if Factory Ammunition is used in the Firearm, Reloads will void all applicable warranty.

The Barn is not responsible in any way for products that are sold new or second hand by another retail outlet. Sometimes, and at The Managers discresion only, The Barn may choose to help a customer out with a warranty on an item that was not purchased through The Barn. In cases such as this. Fees payable to The Barn will include --

• Scope or accessory - $36 administration fee, freight to the supplier, freight from the supplier back to The Barn. Freight back to the customer. Some freight charges may be covered by the supplier depending on the circumstances. 
• Firearm. -$100 administration fee, freight to the supplier, freight from the supplier back to The Barn. Freight back to the customer. Some freight charges may be covered by the supplier depending on the circumstances. Gun only is to be left at The Barn. No hardcases, no acccessories and so on. 

RETURNS / REFUNDS

STORAGE

The Barn (Oakey) Pty Ltd may, at its discretion, offer to provide a storage facility for customers to store firearms. Any such provision of storage facilities will be charged as follows:

• $50 inc GST administration fee
• $11 inc GST per item per week
• First 2 months storage fees are to be paid in advance.
• If invoices are not paid, or contact to arrange payment has not been made within 30 days, The Barn reserves the right to on sell firearms to recover the storage amount owing to The Barn (Oakey) Pty Ltd

The administration fee is a once off charge.

Collections from Police Stations

:- Toowoomba or local areas - 1-5 guns - $200 ; 5-15 guns - $300. Please note : These fees do not include the above administration fee to bring into the Barns books.

INSURANCE QUOTES

The Barn at its discretion may choose to assist customers with insurance quotes as an added service. Insurance quotes or valuations on firearms will be charged at the following rates. If the customer purchases 75% of the total quotation price from The Barn the initial price charged for the quotation will be reimbursed to the customer –

• Quote on under 3 firearms - $100
• Quote on 3-5 firearms - $150
• Quote on 5 - 10 firearms  - $250
• Quote on more than 20 firearms or items including reloading equipment and accessories – POA

GIFT VOUCHERS

The Barn chooses to use gift vouchers as a service to their customer base. The gift vouchers are redeemable 6 months after date of issue. If any tampering of the original gift voucher is evident the gift voucher will be voided.

SCOPE FITTING

The Barn under the managers directions may choose to fit your rifle scope as an added service. Normal scope fitting fee is $35 however if the gun and scope is purchased from The Barn they may choose to wave this fee.

"LIKE FOR LIKE" TRADES

As per QLD Weapons Licensing standards The Barn does “LIKE FOR LIKE” trades on guns to save customers doing a permit to acquire. The “LIKE FOR LIKE” can only be completed if the rifle is as follows: the same action, the same category and the same cartridge. The Barn may at its discretion charge a disposal / administration fee for the old firearm if it is deemed to be worthless.

INTERSTATE TRANSFERS

The Barn accepts incoming interstate transfers only from Licensed Interstate dealers. Interstate transfers will attract a $50 administration fee and be free of a storage fee for the first week. If a firearm is purchased from an Australian manufacturer that the Barn also has access to, the interstate transfer fee is $100. ie - Wedgetail and Oceania. Any warranty on the previously mentioned brands will be charged out at $100 each time the gun has to enter or exit our books to go to or come back from the manufacturer. After this period a rifle storage fee of $10 + GST per week will be charged until the firearm is collected. The Barn is happy to ship a gun that has been purchased to the majority of dealers in the Australian firearms dealer network. If your chosen dealer is not on our list of interstate preferred dealers, you may select another dealer that is on this list. Should you not want to select another dealer, standard cancelation fees will apply to this transaction. We need a current copy of the receiving dealers license before this transaction can take place.

ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS AND TIMELINESS OF INFORMATION

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. The material on this site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary, more accurate, more complete or more timely sources of information. Any reliance on the material on this site is at your own risk. This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this site at any time, but we have no obligation to update any information on our site. MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE AND PRICES

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service. This includes products that are ordered in from suppliers that undergo a price rise by the time that they land at The Barn. The Barn shall not be held responsible for any additional items that are purchased in relation to the order in item should the customer or the Barn choose to cancel the service or sale.

PRODUCTS OR SERVICES (if applicable)

Certain products or services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited. We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.

ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input. You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools ”as is” and “as available” without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools. Any use by you of optional tools offered through the site is entirely at your own risk and discretion and you should ensure that you are familiar with and approve of the terms on which tools are provided by the relevant third-party provider(s).
